Why the well?
“…but whoever drinks of the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:13-14
In John 4, Jesus meets a woman at a well. He sees her fully, speaks to her deeply and offers her living water. This is our model: a place of encounter, truth, restoration and renewal.
Our Ethos & beliefs

1 / We believe every woman is created in the image of God; mind, body and spirit.
Genesis 1:27
2 / Honouring our emotional and physical wellbeing is not separate from our faith.
Psalm 34:18 • Matthew 11:28-30
3 / Wholeness is both a promise and a present invitation. While we await full restoration, we can pursue healing with God, here and now.
Revelation 21:4
4 / If wholeness is our inheritance, every act of care is a sacred act of worship.
Romans 12:1 • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
OUR VISION
Our vision is to build a community of women seeking to walk in the fullness of what God has for us; rooted in faith, equipped in mind and body. In this space, women are resourced with tools and scripture to journey through the beauty and complexity of womanhood.
1 / A Christ-Centred approach to whole person wellbeing
We want to build a community of Christian women who are rooted in Scripture. While many spaces focus solely on mindset or self-care, The Women's Well roots everything in Scripture and the power of God. Each offering begins with the belief that true healing and rest flow from Christ.
2 / Integrating Faith, Psychology and Physiology
We want to build a community of Christian women who are equipped with knowledge and confidence about their minds and bodies. We believe in bridging spiritual insight with grounded, evidence informed practices. We explore how mind, body and spirit connect through biblical truth and psychological wisdom.
3 / Created by and for Christian WoMEN
We want to build a community of Christian women who are committed to growing into wholeness together. This is a space where Christian women can see themselves represented, understood and celebrated. Our resources are all designed to help build community and foster connection. The aim is to walk toward wholeness collectively.
Founder's Story

Founder
INEZ ACQUAH-AIKINS
I created The Women’s Well because I was tired of suffering in silence. Growing up in a Black-British Christian household, I learnt a lot about faith and what it means to love God, but I had little understanding of my emotional and physical health.
As I grew older, I started asking questions:
How can I love God and others deeply yet feel so disconnected from myself?
Why do I find it easier to pray for others than to care for my own wellbeing?
These questions slowly led me to a deeper revelation; that faith and wellbeing were never meant to be separate. I realised that God was never silent in my struggles; I just didn’t know how to bring my whole self to Him.
At the same time, I became aware of a wider gap in the Church. Many of my sisters in Christ lacked the language, space or resources to explore mental health safely within the context of faith.
The Women’s Well is the space I wish I had; a bridge between emotional wellbeing and the Church. A space where Christian women can explore their minds and bodies without shame and learn that caring for yourself doesn’t mean leaving God behind.
